Stoplight Ministries

Prepare.

REAL Church hosts bag-packing parties quarterly. Church members put together stoplight ministries bags by filling them with necessities for those in need. Each bag is filled with food, water, beanies, gloves, socks, rain-poncho, hand-sanitizer, toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, band-aids, chapstick, flashlights, and a Bible, along with resource cards to help them find a local shelter.

Care.

REAL Church inspires their members to take a bag (or two) at the end of each service and to keep it in their car. Recognizing each person travels a different direction than the next. We challenge our members to pray and ask God to place someone in their path that they would have an opportunity to bless with a Stoplight Ministries bag.

Provision meets opportunity. With the ability to help someone on need, we ask our church members to recognize the moment. Roll down a window, pull the car over, park in a parking lot, and seek out the person who is down on their luck and struggling to make ends meet. Going beyond the exchange of the Stoplight Ministry bag is encouraged!
